Parallel Peach
So awhile back, I did that article to celebrate Super Mario Bros. 2, and point out its contributions to the Mario mythos as a whole, and why it should be considered a true Mario game, even putting forth the idea that maybe it was originally meant to be (I never saw a Doki Doki Panic Advance, btw).
One such reason is that the Princess Peach Toadstool we all know today gained her first steps towards her current established look in that game, based off of the color scheme of the character she had replaced from Fuji Television.
Well, looking at the box for the Super Princess Peach puzzle shinkuu had given me for Christmas (I still gotta get that game), I sort of wondered what it might be like today had Peach kept her original colors, and basically came up with this:
