G.I. Joe: The Invasion of Cobra Island
Sorry there hasn’t been much content up this weekend; Nintendo of Canada sent over a couple of loaners, so I’ve been working on some reviews.
However, if you’re like me and did not make it to the theater to see G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, then here’s something to help hold you over until the chance arises. On the official movie website, they have put together something of a throwback to the originaly A Real American Hero toyline and cartoon (and yes, I know better than to call them the “original” toys).
Titled “The Invasion of Cobra Island,” it’s an amusing pair (I don’t know if there will be a third) of shorts that are put together using toys from the action figure line (the recent remakes, if I’m not mistaken) with some interesting mouth and eye movement. Check it out:
Part 2 awaits:
All in all, pretty good stuff; I wish it kept going. Also, be sure to check out Cobra Commander’s desktop.
Yo, Joe!
