Happy Birthday, Charles Martinet!
A few days ago, on September 17th, Mr. Charles Martinet reached another birthday milestone, and to my regret, I neglected to post anything here to commemorate. However, I am now making amends, albeit in a belated fashion.
“But who is Charles Martinet?” you might be asking. Why, he’s none other than the man behind the voices for some of Nintendo’s biggest stars. Namely Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi.
To celebrate, GoNintendo posted the following montage of several of his past works:
For more Martinet Madness, you can check out the interview I conducted with him here, and another one here (text only).
I must say, Mr. Martinet is awesome, and it’s always a joy hearing from him. Interviewing him was certainly a highlight of my career thus far, and I look forward to doing so again. In fact, I have something special planned in regards to that, so stay tuned.
Happy (belated) Birthday, Charles!
Also, a special thanks to SuperCaterina, whose celebratory picture brought this fact to my attention in the first place.
