How Games Were Marketed 31 Years Ago
Sorry the updates have been sparse lately, folks, a few things going on, and it will get worse before it gets better. Working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up for a review, I have to go check out WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 later this week, my dad is coming up for Thanksgiving this weekend, leaves the following Tuesday, and then I have to work on reviewing SDvsRaw as well. Plus the regular round of news coverage at Kombo wherever it will fit.
But for now, retroCRUSH has a neat article which looks back at the Atari Catalog, circa 1978. I’d love to have something like that, purely as a collector and fan of video game history, but still, check out that cover. It looks like the front of a kid’s activity book or something.
