Mario Tennis Open Review Now Available
I just wanted to let everyone know that my review of Mario Tennis Open is now available at the Toronto Video Game Examiner.
Scoring this one was tough, and in the end, I’m still not sure whether I made the right call or not. Examiner uses a hard 5-point scale– no .5’s, or anything of the sort. Your score is either a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, with no in-between, and while I made something of a judgement call to score it between two points, I can’t help but feel that either side would have been too high or too low.
That said, I really did enjoy the game. I just wish a greater attempt had been made to soar than to glide, if you know what I’m saying, particularly given the standards previous games had set. But rather than reading this, check out the review and see whether you think it’s what you’re looking for.
In the meantime, my fingers are crossed for a new Mario Golf…
