Xbox Holds New Contest for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Pizza-Scented Controllers

Now your controllers can smell like 'za for a different reason.

Pizza Power!

Xbox and Paramount Pictures are celebrating the upcoming release of the new animated film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, with a contest to win one of four Xbox Series Wireless Controllers, each themed around one of the four brothers’ appearance in the new movie, with an oozy green finish (which is kind of on-brand for Xbox, too)! Check ’em out!

♫ Growing up in a glass bowl, with chameleons, lizards, and tadpoles, it hardly enters your mind that there’s something better than this…

But that’s not all; you’ll notice that each controller appears to be resting on a slice of the Turtles’ favorite food in all the worlds from here to Dimension X, pizza! That’s because each controller comes with its own pizza-shaped scent diffuser designed to make your gaming experience smell extra-cheesy.

However, these controllers are one — well, four-of-a-kind, and won’t be available in any stores. If you want one, you’re going to have to win in this sweepstakes.

♫ A lettuce leaf and a carrot, maybe a seed from a parrot, believe me when I tell you the word gourmet just don’t exist!

Each prize pack contains one of the four controllers seen above, a digital code for three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and a bottle of customized pizza-scent liquid fragrance.

All you have to do to potentially get one is follow Xbox Game Pass on Twitter and retweet this post with “#XboxTMNTMoviesweepstakes”. Do that before the end of August 13th, and you’ll be entered for a shot at pepperoni and cheese-scented glory.

And yes, Canadians are eligible, or else I wouldn’t be bothering. You can find out all the rest of the official rules and eligibility details here.

Incidentally, if you do win? There’s no shortage of totally Turtle-riffic titles to tackle on your Xbox. For starters, they’ve just released a new expansion to Minecraft themed around the green machine:

There’s more vintage Turtles action in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which is slated to get some new downloadable content soon, and you can watch Nadia and I playing right here on “Nadia & David Ruin Video Games”:

Or if you want to go really oldschool, there’s the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection from Conami — er, Konami:

…dang. All this talk of pizza has made me hungry. I’m out.

Thanks for reading! And in case you haven’t heard, re-upping our hosting for the next few years took a big bite out of our bank account, so if you like what we’re doing here, and can kick in a few bucks to our Patreon or buy us an E Tank on Ko-fi, we’d greatly appreciate it!
