Nadia & David Ruin Video Games – Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park

It’s the fifth anniversary of “Nadia & David Ruin Video Games”! Well, April 15th will be, to be precise, but that’s not on a weekend, and this was the closest stream we have, so…

Anyway, marking the occasion is… well, something we were planning on last episode, but we didn’t have the money at the time. But we did this time, and so we’re playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park (Whew! What a long title!). More the Wonder part and less the Bellabel Park part, but still.

We started playing the original when it came out, but never quite got around to finishing it. But thanks to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and the recently-released upgrade pack, our interest has been reinvigorated, and so we decided to pick up where we left off, and plan to continue it on stream until we finish! (Not this one stream, of course, but multiple.)

Our main focus was getting re-acclimated to the game, and catching up on the Koopaling content sprinkled throughout that has been added to the worlds we’d previously conquered (like, the first two or three). Next time, we should be ready to hit the ground running!

As for our next stream, that’ll be “Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem”, and we’re likely going to take on Mega Man 10, though we might take a peek at Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection first. Not sure on that one just yet. However, it won’t be happening in two weeks as per usual, as Nadia is going to be heading out to the Midwest Gaming Classic, which takes place the weekend of April 24th to 26th!

So keep an eye on Twitter and Bluesky to see when and what we’ll be streaming next, as we should have that figured out a little closer to when it happens.
