Apologies To the PMO Readership

I know I said that since I couldn’t update last night, I would do so tonight.

And I’m afraid that I said that in haste, as I had forgotten what Sunday would bring.

Check your calendars.

Yep, that’s right. April Fool’s Day. Once a day which begat small pranks among family and friends has become a hallmark tradition of the internet, and all sorts of hoaxes, pranks, and practical jokes are pulled all the web over.

As I type this, the much celebrated, much reviled day is less than half an hour away.

Now, I don’t mean to be a party-pooper, but I’m not up to trying to decipher fact from fiction with everything I read tonight, nor do I want anything I post to be scrutinized.

Nor do I really want comments telling me “lol pwned” if I make a mistake. I’m too tired for that right now.

So, the amended plan is simple: I’m waiting for Monday, hopefully early in the day, and I’ll cover everything that I can discern as legitimate news into some megaposts, and just for fun, I’ll even try and gather together whatever prankish mischief remains so people may have a good laugh and marvel at the ingenuity the internet shows this time of year.
