Nadia & David Ruin Video Games – Donkey Kong Bananza

First, a quick note: I’m not trying to turn this into nothing but “Nadia & David Ruin Video Games” posts, but I’ve been working on my next original piece, and it’s already clocked in at over 2,000 words and I’m still a ways from the finish line on it. Been working on it for a while, let me tell you. Hopefully I can settle in and get that done sooner than later, then finally post it to Patreon, where it’ll be available exclusively for a week before hitting the site.

As for right here and right now? As promised, we got Donkey Kong Bananza, and live on Twitch, we went on a whirlwind tour of the first two worlds — er, layers? — of the game.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: This game is more fun than it looks. And it looks fun. For me, it’s really a dream come true, a title truly worthy of the one true Unsung Hero of the 16-Bit Wars.

Next time we come at you, probably in about two weeks, it’s probably “Mega Man Mayhem” time again with Mega Man 8, unless we decide to double up on “Ruin Video Games” on account of doing that for the Blue Bomber in the lead-up to this.
